Retro Bike Baskets

In a surf store recently with my friends Kylie and Sarah, we saw a picnic basket that reminded us of the groovy bike baskets we had as kids.
I haven't really thought about these baskets as an adult but now I realise just how sweet they looked.

Not a fan of the over the top flowers, but I like the colour and shape of this bike. All that is missing is a retro fake flower basket :)

    Oooh baskets look so lovely, it doesn't matter what age! All I think that needs to accompany them to fulfil the retro look is some spokie dokies!! xx

    I used to have a flower basket on my bike just like that top pic many moons ago!! I loved it. Happy New Year to you. Looking forward to popping into Retrogoddess lots in 2013. : )

    My sweet sister in law got herself an awesome vintage inspired bike just recently for her birthday, one of those baskets you saw would fit it perfectly!!
