As
Christmas approaches (ridiculously quick), I thought I would
recommend some books that I have read recently that would make great
presents.
Recipes to Remember - The Australian Women's Weekly
The AWW never disappoint with their cookbooks.
The artwork in Recipes to Remember is retro gorgeous and the recipes will have your mouth watering.
A beautiful book for vintage lovers and foodies.
Only
in New York - Lily Brett
Lily
Brett hooks me in with each of her books.
I
know that I may never get to New York (incredible fear of flying),
but her observations of New York City makes me feel like I would know
my way around if I ever did go there.
How
to be Parisian - Anne Berest, Caroline De Maigret, Sophie Mass and
Audrey Diwan
Karl
Lagerfeld says, "You don't have to be French to be a Parisian".
Thanks Karl.
This
book is chic. Parisian chic. Book chic. it's just chic.
It
has beautiful illustrations and photography, with a dose of humour
thrown in.
Maybe
if I read it over and over, I will start to look like Françoise
Hardy or Brigitte Bardot. Nope, don't think so.
Beautiful
Goats - Felicity Stockwell
This
book features goats photographed just like the models in a high
fashion magazine. They are the supermodels of the goat world.
The
book delves into the history of goats - (gasp!) provider of skin,
meat and dairy.
There
is an increasing trend of keeping goats as pets - an idea that I love
if only I had a little farm.
