Melbourne based accessories brand Erstwilder is has launched their collection, 'Minis - Cats', in partnership with RSPCA Victoria.
The collection includes cute and quirky cat brooches in a new mini size, and Erstwilder will be donating $2.00 from every piece sold TODAY to RSPCA Victoria in a bid to help more cats find a forever home.
Cat abandonment is a big issue in Victoria, with the RSPCA Victoria seeing 9,512 cats and kittens admitted into their care last financial year (19/20), and 6,772 cats found new homes through its adoption program last financial year (19/20). Cats and kittens are also adopted at a much slower rate than dogs, and are six times less likely to be reclaimed than dogs. At less than $2.00 a day including healthcare, food and accessories, RSPCA Victoria is urging locals to adopt a cat and discover the happiness they can bring to humans.
